What inspires great inventions?

Great inventions make our lives easier and stress-free. If it weren’t for Thomas Edison, we’d only be able to read during the day or by candlelight. Had Alexander Graham Bell never invented the telephone, we’d still be sending telegrams and would probably not have very many friends. If Eli Whitney never invented the cotton gin, we may all be wearing leather and spend the majority of our time hiding from PETA.

If you’ve ever tried to figure out how to fix a drawstring, then it’s probably pretty easy for you to understand the inspiration behind the Re-String It. Losing functionality of your favorite clothing items is a great motivator, as is saving the time and money to figure out the whole restringing process.

Life is too short to spend it trying to figure out how to fix a drawstring. Just when you think you may have mastered a certain technique involving a wire hanger or safety pin, you just may find that no two drawstrings are alike, and while the method may have worked on one item of apparel, it won’t work on that hoodie you just can’t live without!

Handy little gadgets like Re-String It definitely add convenience to our already busy lives, but they’re also fundamental in other important ways, which is exactly why it ranks up there with some of the great inventions in the apparel world. Think of the embarrassment it can save—you would never want those sweatpants to drop when you’re running! With that kind of benefit, this innovative re-stringing tool ranks right up there with fire-resistant clothing, blue jeans, pantyhose and the safety pin.

Why spend your time trifling with little items like a drawstring that was kidnapped by the underwear gnomes or waging a campaign against websites that give you erroneous instructions for restringing? Instead, take a breath and simplify your life by adding Re-String It to your collection of handy devices.
